With the release of our new CBD products, we decided to put together a few facts about CBD being THC free!

CBD, short for cannabidiol, is the second most prevalent of the active ingredients of cannabis derived directly from the hemp plant. CBD is Non-Psychoactive and provides strong medical benefits as well as pain and anxiety relief!

Both CBD and THC have the exact same molecular structure: 2 oxygen atoms, 21 carbon atoms, and 30 hydrogen atoms. The difference between CBD and THC's arrangement of atoms is the effects they have on your body.
CBD is used to help with conditions such as:
- seizures
- inflammation
- pain
- psychosis or mental disorders
- inflammatory bowel disease
- nausea
- migraines
- depression
- anxiety
THC is used to help with conditions such as:
- pain
- muscle spasticity
- glaucoma
- insomnia
- low appetite
- nausea
- anxiety
Unlike THC, CBD should not cause side effects. THC has a few temporary side effects that can occur. These side effects include:
- increased heart rate
- coordination problems
- dry mouth
- red eyes
- slower reaction times
- memory loss
The biggest takeaway is THC produces a high from marijuana. CBD produces no high.
